Most people choose a retreat the way they choose a hotel: by the photos. That is a good start, but four questions will tell you far more about whether a week will suit you.

1. What level do you want?

Every retreat at Quinta has a level from 1 to 5. If you want rest, choose level 1 or 2. If you want to come home tired in a good way, look at level 3 or 4.

2. How long can you really switch off?

A long weekend is enough to sleep well again. A full week is when most guests say something shifts. If you can, give yourself six nights.

3. Shared or private?

Shared rooms are the friendliest way to arrive, and they cost less. If you are a light sleeper, a private room is worth it.
